Hey Twixinit10,
Take out the Cartridge (The Game) and blow hard into the bottom part where you click it into the gameboy. Then Blow hard into the cartridge of the GameBoy Color (Where you insert the game). If that fails, your Game has Corrupted Files on it. This is very common in old Video games. It can be caused by just about anything.

If this helps, please rate this solution as a FixYa. - Evolution

I've fixed that by pressing the corners of the game and never taking it out of the game boy. Plus you might try putting the game in most of the way not all the way.

Playr.org Pokemon Crystal game not saving

Hey! My pokemon Red has stopped saving too. I think the problem is with their site because I've used a different browser, different account and different game and always the same problem. The console in Chrome shows that there is an internal server error so I think the problem is their end.

Pokemon crystal work when it wants and if it does the game freezes after about 10 mins

Well it might be thAt the battery inside of the game pack that saves your game data is dying then. Or starting to wear out on you so you could buy a new game pack then.

I have the same problem. I deleted all but three of my saves, one of them a little older than the others. The two new ones give me the same problem as you described. Tried playing again from the old one, saved, but I'm getting the same problem for the new saves.

I try to start a new game on pokemon crystal i finish playing i save turn it off an turn it back on and nuthing saves what do i do ?

there is a small battery inside the carriage, replacing this will give the game the ability to keep saved data once again. *Note* I do not suggest doing this unless your experienced doing such thing. you can damage the board of the game if on careful.
