Bosch sgv53e13gb Integrated dishwasher - wont start a new cycle!?

My parents new dishwasher seems to be stuck on a cycle. It's only 2weeks old, and has worked perfectly up until now...the drainage pump is on constantly, even where the washer has been put into the reset mode. We have checked all the filters and tried filling the washer up manually so it has something to drain when switched on! The water drained fine, the cycle ends but the drainage pump is still running...HELP...!!!

Hi,
As the machine is only two weeks old I would go straight back to the seller and report the fault to them - and take a copy in writing. Don't be fobbed off with any instructions to get in touch with the makers - your contract is with the seller and it is up to them to fix it! And if you mention compensation for the inconvenience caused by this defective product, it might help speed things up.

Hope this helps! D.

Bosch integrated dishwasher water pump wont go off

sounds like the drain pump stays on. take the kickplate off and check for water in the base. if no water then make that little red bar to the left of the watervalve in the base go up and down a few times. you could have a stuck microswitch on the pressure chamber

Bosch dishwasher wont drain

You can check the drain or the filter. You will have to pull it out of the space it is now to access it. Items will get stuck in the drain clogging it.

Bosch Dishwasher stuck in "Scrub Cycle"

The Control module on our SHU43 blew this morning and when I took it apart to get the module out, I discovered why two of the Cycle selections no longer worked..... the little plastic lever that pushed the switch behind the fascia button - had broken off. You may have the same issue. It's not a cheap fix though as a new module is gonna cost me $175.
