Question about Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527 Notebook
My Agere softmodem stopped working suddenly. Phone line ok. Toshiba diagnostic tool reports that modem is functioning properly but cannot find dial tone. Dial tone can be heard clearly when I attempt to dial out and I can hear the modem attempting to dial but the connection is not made.I have reloaded the drivers and executed system restore to a point prior to the modem failure. Still have same problem with modem. Any ideas about what's going on?
