HP PSC 2410 All-In-One InkJet printer default settings

HP PSC 2410 All-In-One InkJet printer hangs up and makes funny noise from scanner. How can reset to factory settings to cancell the scanner in printer memory.

    when turn it on scanner is not working properly, making funny noise and windows screen is not opening

    when i turn it on my hp psc 2410 photosmart all in one printer light, is coming , scanner is not goimg and coming back start making funny noise also scrren isnot opening.

My scanner will not work it keeps saying scan options are not installed. I deleated the program and reinstalled it but no luck. Help It is a HP PSC 2410 photosmart all in one printer

In addition to the driver, you need to install the utility program as well.
Click on the link given below:
  • There are some information if you wish to read
  • From the menu on the left side select " Software and Driver downloads" Click
  • Choose the O/S
  • Download the utility and install

Hp psc 2410 photosmart all-in-one...cannot make scanner work
I have the same PSC 2410 and contacted HP the print software is included in Leopard 10.5 but the scan is not. They have "no" plans on producing software and went as far as to recommend  third party scanner software to make it work.

My hp psc 2410 photosmart printer will not print - only copy
Check to make sure your PSC 2410 is in fact the default printer. If it is, make sure your cable is firmly plugged in to your printer and CPU. Clear the print queue. Turn off and restart printer. I have found that your problem is basically a communication problem between the computer and printer. Also check www.hp.com. Good luck.

scanner replacement is needed as this cannot be repaired,the lower printer part is perfect just the scanner parts needs replacement.it is also costly to get replaced.

Noise on my printer HP psc 2410
I have experienced this problem numerous times since owning theprinter, and usually a full reset (# and 9 on power-up) has resolvedit. Not this time, however! Following Guest's advice above, I visitedwww.fixyourownprinter.com and found the solution: cleaning the glass. Thank you, Guest!
