I have a Zenith Tv that I bought from a resale store after it had been used by a hotel. When the hotel had owned it they had programmed it to return to a specified channel every time that it is turned off and then back on instead of remaining on the channel which it was on before it was turned off. I would like to remove this programing or at least change it to the channel which is the channel that my cable shows up on which is channel 3. How do i fix it?

Most of the Hotel sets use a different remote to enter the hidden menus--the system that set uses was likely on channel 81 and where it was used they needed it to come on at a specific time----going to get that specific service remote and info on how to change settings---this is the issue with buying these commercial sets.
Zenith is part of LG but different phone numbers etc
Press TV to control the TV - the hotel remote may not have anything programmed for AUX, and even if it does, you've determined that its not the Zenith H2534Y3 Flat Panel TV
Did you try to call LG/Zenith customer support and see if they can help you? If not find your nearest LG/Zenith service center (not Best Buy) preferably a small service shop to see if they have a service remote to unlock it
You have a hotel/motel model that cannot be programmed or any of the settings changed without a special Master remote. Sorry, doubt that you can buy one from the store, they are not sold to the public. Contact the hotel where you bought the set and try to get the model number for the remote from them. This is a different number than the model number of your tv.
if you can get to menu to unlock the channels type in 0000 or 1234 or 9999 or 0001 orif this doesnt work you could take back off tv and remove the little battery that looks like a coin out. becareful, this is high voltage in there.........
The CORRECT answer is you must purchase a LP702 remote. Google it to find one to buy. You must unlock channels and program the channels fresh.
Some standard zenith remotes allow you to reset the tv by popping off the cover of the remote and pressing an unmarked button.
