Ok, i've tried everthing to fix my problem including resetting my device, deleting and setting up the bluetooth config, also downloading and installing the FileBlueTooth.zip file to no avail.
Here is my problem: It was all working 2 days after i brought it and configured it. Could see all my contacts, txt messages and other stuff, make calls through the gps to my mobile (Sony Ericsson W850i)
How, when I start the phone and the 660 it detects and connects, I can see my txts and contacts on the 660 via bluetooth to my mobile, but the Bluetooth disconnects after 10secs on the 660. When I enable bluetooth on the 660 it just sits there with the message Enabling Bluetooth.
I've updated the software from Garmin including the Bluetooth patch...
My garmin was working fine and while driving, it started an Bluetooth update and stopped at 86%. Since then, no way to use Bluetooth.
I update the software from Webupdate. I reloaded the programe for C550 (not the flash) still not working. I reset the unit, removing all personal information. Still Bluetooth stays in disable mode.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Looks like your saying you've updated your n?vi 660 to software(firmware) version 2.0, if so you're moving in the right direction.
Unfortunately the n?vi 660 does support the Treo 700P but only seems to support the 'Hands-free' BlueTooth profile and this is often problematical as is the 'headset' profile with some device combinations, that's precisely why many phones and devices now support both profiles.
Check the pairing information to see if you're using 'headset' or 'Hands-free', whatever you're using delete the pairing on both devices and see if they will let you pair in the other profile.
Your Treo 700P is made by PalmOne (www.palm.com) so you may want to check for software updates from them.
This kind of problem is down to the lack of a solid standard for BlueTooth communications and you will often find that settings that work for one combination of devices are unstable with another.
Post back if this doesn't help or if you need us to clarify anything.
The unit does not save the phone book, it loads it each time your bluetooth phone is in contact with it. To verify this, turn off the bluetooth phone, then try to access the phone book in the GPS unit. It should not come up.
I had the same problem, and this is how I fixed it. Now it's working fine.
Thank you for contacting Garmin International,

will reinstall the version of bluetooth you have downloaded in case

2. Touch View Map
