Need to know how to make a specific phone number go to a new phone we just started using again. we have three different companies and only one phone number will go to that phone.

The SIM card in the new phone is paired with a cell phone provider. Whatever the provider (AT&T? Verizon? Cricket? T-Mobile?) setup on the SIM card, that is the phone number that will be active. You can only have one SIM card active in a phone at one time. You can only have one phone number active on a SIM card.

You can setup a forwarding service like Google Voice to forward calls to another number. Each physical phone needs it's own SIM card ad phone number. You can't share phone numbers between cell phones.

Want to transfer contacts from lumia 710 to samsung galaxy s 3.

The easiest way to do this was to copy all your contacts to your sim card then transfer you sim card to your new phone. All your contacts will be carried over to any phone that you will place your sim card on. The only disadvantage to this method is that the contacts that had multiple numbers or info will be separated as sim cards are not capable of processing such information

Mobile stolen

Unlike the Electronic Serial Number or MEID of CDMA and other wireless networks, the IMEI is only used to identify the device, and has no permanent or semi-permanent relation to the subscriber. Instead, the subscriber is identified by transmission of an IMSI number, which is stored on a SIM card which can (in theory) be transferred to any handset. However, many network and security features are enabled by knowing the current device being used by a subscriber.

If a mobile phone is stolen, the owner can call his or her network provider and instruct them to "ban" the phone using its IMEI number. This renders the phone useless, regardless of whether the phone's SIM is changed.

Sim card rejected

Try inserting the sim card in another phone. If it still doesn't work, the problem could really be with the sim card. Go to your service provider, and request for your sim card number transfered to another sim card. That is if you wanna keep the same number. You could request for another sim card if you'd like. Call your service provider.
