The paper starts to feed from the tray and then stops after it goes about 3 1/2 inches. I've replaced the waste toner cartridge and rotated the rubber boot on the wheel that feed the paper. I've noticed that waste toner is now accumulating inside the printer on the right hand side or the imaging unit. L. York email@example.com
the first thing to chage the rubber at feeding whell which u did.another if u take out the the whole cartrige container, on the big green wheel some small wheels rolling and the might get black stiket thing on in it. first open the paper tray located at the front of the machine (where you load the paper). carefully open the adjacent smaller door to the left of the paper feed. theres the waste toner! slowly remove keeping it horizontal and empty! replace and off you go.
If you remove the toner/drum unit and look into the back of the printer you will see the paper feed roller and just above it a long thin foam covered roller. Clean this foam covered roller with a damp cloth, it will be covered in toner and too slippy to feed the paper. Turn it and clean until it feels sticky again, all should now work !
Brand New T652n lexmark printer get a paper jam every time! just opened and haven't been able to print one paper. Doesn't matter if you print from tray one or tray two. It gets stuck right after the rollers pick it up and try to send it to the toner. Any suggestions? I've tried to reseat the toner, plain paper, sized the paper correctly, I've tried just about everything I can think of! I can feed paper manually through the top tray, and it will print. But, just using the manual tray defeats the purpose of the other two trays. Anyone else having this issue?
Paper light flashing could mean several things on this machine.
could be a paper jam in the machine. Open the front cover remove the
drum and toner and look in the machine. You can also check in between the drum and toner by removing the toner from the drum. Open the back cover and look
for a Jam as well.
Try putting a piece of paper in the manual
feed tray which is right above the paper tray, sometimes on certain
documents the margins are too big and asks to go into the manual feed
Someone suggested to empty the gray toner waste container located on the left side of the printer next to the cartridges. Be careful when emptying this as toner can make a real mess. Clean up with toilet paper or paper towel - not water!
Easy fix and this fixed mine like a charm. No need to send the unit in!
I was told by the local repair shop that Samsung made at least two mistakes on this printer related to the feed roller. 1) Many were installed backwards; reversing fixes it. 2) Many rollers were not manufactured correctly - replacement is about $20 (plus labor). They told me to call Samsung and ask them to at least cover labor to determine which problem; will do shortly. Don't forget, if you registered your printer, you got an extra 3 months warranty, 15 months total. I missed that by a month :(
