Question about Mitsubishi WD-52525 52" Rear Projection HDTV
Hi, I hope you can help me with this problem because I don't get it. The fistr faulty was a convergence problem, I replaced the three STK391-020 but when I tried to turn on the set then this problem came up, the set start up for a few seconds but then it shuts down, please if any one can help me with this.

Double check all, I said ALL cables, check the soldering performance on the IC's. Look very closely for bridged solder joints.You did something again double all of your work, make sure you installed correct parts, maybe new parts defective.

If the symptom didn't cure by convergence adjustment through the remote control, this is an indication of faulty convergence board inside. You may replace the convergence IC's STK series and some of the resistors around because its already gone bad.If these parts replaced with new one, your unit will back to normal again. Also, consider bad solder joints in that area, it will do the same symptom like what you've encountered right now. Find it first and re-solder. If you don't have necessary tools and test instrument and can't do the job yourself, I would advise you to look for a qualified technician to isolate the problem.
