Cant get filter off - Whirlpool ED2FHEXN Side by Side Refrigerator

Check inside the filter housing for obstructions
line up the slot inside the filter housing with the filter then screw it in clockwise while gently pushing

no year, no real answers, sorry, lots of GV made.
cant find reverse. what does that mean.?
cant move the shift lever to R?
no?
the shifter goes to R but car wont move in reverse? only? that gear is dead?
where is filter. what filter in what system?
my guess is Transmission filter.?
if transmission is an A/T the filter is in the transmission above the ATF oil pan. yes, we must take off the pan and get a bath in ATF.

the A/T service is covered in both manuals. operators and full FSM.
it say, take it in to service,
or in FSM how to.
all cars.

atf = automatic transmission fluid.

there is air in the filter.there chould be bolt you can untight.
and a pump on the filter to pump out the air.then tighten the bolt again

many time they put it in line from the tank its a small filter

OIL FILTER IS IN FRONT NEXT OIL PAN BUT HIGHER UP POSITION. OIL FILTER ABOVE THE BOTTOM OF THE OIL PAN WHERE YOU CANT SEE IT.IF HAVE TO RAISE FRONT CAR UP TO SEE IT.NEED SPECIAL FILTER WRENCH TO REMOVE IT.

you have to remove the transmission fluid pan-it is not an external filter
first remove the transmission drain plug and then remove the pan-you can then remove the filter and transmission pan gasket

should be inside the trans pan

The Oil filter is mounted on the left front fender ( driver's side) by the air cleaner.

there is a special fuel line disconnect tool. You can grab one at any auto parts shop. they are different sizes so bring in new filter to check size.
