While on vacation, my laptop booted up, but would freeze as soon as windows would start. I held down the power button to turn it off, then re-booted it. I did this several times. Each time, it would go through the disk scan, then windows would start, but the curser would be frozen and no keys on the keyboard would work. HELP!!!
You might wan tot check your battery. Simpley unplug your battery while the unit is on house current. Give it about 30 seconds then try to t move your mouse. If it moves freely then it is your batter causing the problen. Likely causing a shot on the charging system

Good Day, For clarifications, is it that the computer freezes or the mouse pad doesn't work again while the keyboard still works? Because for your type of laptop, around the top left corner of your mouse pad, there is a small hollow. If you double tap this place, you deactivate the mouse pad and if you repeat the tapping, you activate it. That's why the light there comes on and off. So may be you check it to know if you tap here during your typing. I hope this helps you? Thank you for using Fizya!
Just want to verify which key pad you referring to? The alpha numeric keypad or the touch pad for the mouse pointer control?
Try this first. Power on laptop then hold down F2, check if you can access BIOS. If yes try F8 then boot to safe mode. Check if you can login to windows in safe mode. If yes then do a system restore from the date where every thing was working fine.
make sure the mouse and keyboard are in right connections...if you look closely youll see icons next to ports.
try without mouse at first start up ,load windows and use key with windows logo on it to access start and scroll to shutdown tab and restart...plug in the mouse before restart.
if logo tab isnt assigned press ctrl + esc to access start menu.
Found a nice solution at another website: switch off the pc, unplug the power supply cable AND remove battery. Press "on" switch for 20 seconds. Now re-install battery, plug back power supply cable, and switch on. Worked for me (what exactly worked for me I don't know but hey)
first of all u have to re install windows( operating system)
before inserting the windows cd u have to plug an external keybord and mouse and start the system.
boot from cd and continue.
the laptop keybord and mouse could be unusable anymore.
