Hello kinn14,

I can understand how frustrating this much be. Make sure that your computer is connected to the internet and that you have the proper updates. If the music isn't transferring to iTunes from another source, then chances are you need to change the format. If the format is WMA or MP3, iTunes should play them. If your iPod isn't able to upload songs, I'd suggest bringing it in for a diagnostic there might be a hardware problem.

Best of Luck,
Matt

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I cant get my music of my ipod nano onto my new netbook? i HAVE A NEW NETBOOK WHICH IS WINDOWS 7 AND I CANT TRANSFER MY MUSIC OFF MY IPOD NANO 4GB ONTO MY NETBOOK?

iDevices (iPod, iPhone, etc) usually can only be managed through iTunes. So the first thing you should do is install iTunes (you can download it off Apple's website).

After installing iTunes and connecting your iPod, you must open My Computer then double click your iPod's icon. Then, click on Tools, Options, and in the View tab check the "Show hidden files and folders" option. You should then see an "iPod_Control" folder. Inside it there'll be a "Music" folder, with all your songs. Just drag them back to your computer.

But remember: you can only manage your iPod's music through iTunes. If you add or change songs on your iPod without using iTunes, these songs won't be recognized.

Couldn'ot find music options

Is your iPod setup to be used as a USB storage device?

A common point of confusion, using the USB mode to put music onto will not be seen by the iPod. It is a separate area for misc. file you can take with you. I normally leave that feature turned off in iTunes.

You MUST use iTunes to setup a relationship with your iPod and transfer music with.

Why tune tools does not detect my Ipod now? It did previously.

Hi, I just purchased Tunes Tool 2.0 today.  I hoped to use it to transfer songs from my Windows iPod video to my MacBook.  When I installed Tune Tools, the same problem occurred that you all were having;  It could not detect my iPod and gave me a notification about a null iPod.  I figured out how to fix this, and all my songs were able to be transfered onto my mac flawlessly. The steps I used are listed below.
1) Open Tune Tools and iTunes. 2) Plug in your iPod. 3) In iTunes, click the summary tab (if not already selected) 4) On the Summary page, check the box that says "Enable Disk Use" 5) A message will pop up, click OK 6) Open Tune Tools, and Your iPod's library should be there.  If not, you may have to reconnect your iPod. 7) You will have to manually highlight all the songs you want to be transfered from your iPod to your computer. 8) Once all the songs you want have been selected, drag to your iTunes Library in Tune Tools. 9) A blue bar should appear and tell you that your music is being transfered. 10) The songs will be transfered from your iPod to your computer.
I hope this works for all of you!

Transfering music from other to music

If you still need assistance with that issue i know what you should do.
Connect the ipod to your computer and when it shows up in itunes, close itunes.
Then open your start menu and go to My Computer. Here you will see you ipod. Double click on the ipod to open it.. After it is open you will need to click and drag the itunes music folder from the ipod onto your desktop. this may take a while if you have allot of music on it. after that you will add the folder to itunes by going to the File option in the top tool bar of itunes, and select Add Folder To library

I cant put videos on my mp3 player

Well, first illegally downloading music for free, then transfering it onto your ipod/mp3 player is illegal. I highly suggest you stop otherwise, you could get into some trouble.. BUT this does not apply to those of you who asked this question that are PAYING for their music/videos.. Thanks,
Anonomous..
