Question about Mintek Televison & Video

Need a replacement AV Cord for a Mintek MDP-1880 Portable DVD Player. Cord has a single mini-plug to connect to "AV Out" and yellow, red, & white plugs to connect to TV. Help. Joe Prater joe_prater@excite.com

    Thanks. I was making the solution WAY too complicated. Radio Shack had it.

    Make sure you bring in the player to make sure the leads on the mini jack are correct.

Too bad it has nothing to do with the Mintek MDP-1880 like it says at the top of...


To reset the recorder to factory defaults as if it was just removed from the box - leave the recorder on then press and hold the channel up and down buttons at the same time until it says "Bye" on the display. When it shows the clock it is off - wait a few seconds then turn it back on - you should see the initial setup asking you to choose a language.

Note: You may have to flip down part of the front panel to reveal the channel buttons.

try to change the connection of the video.insert the video plug to yellow colored jack, tv and dvd.

Take your unit into Radio Shack. They should be able to match one up for you.
