Question about Televison & Video
Lately I've noticed that near the top of my screen, the picture is beginning to get distorted, about an inch vertically, and it goes all the way across the screen. The picture in this area bends heavily to the right, and is much brighter and more vibrant than the rest of the picture. I've also noticed that the picture outside the screen isn't quite as brilliant as is was before. When I turn the TV on, the top of the picture is actually about two to three inches from the actual top of the screen, and it slowly moves upward as it warm up, until it reaches the top of the TV where it should be, but it dips slightly in the middle. I'm really unhappy with this thing. I took a chance buying a Magnavox TV because I've always found their TVs to be lacking in many different areas. BUT I liked the sound setup, and it looked as though they have come a way since I last owned one, but alas I've been fooled. No Picture, Just a black screen. Does have sound. I've had since 1994, so it may not be worth the time or money to fix.
