Hello bobtail0915,

This means that your set is not getting the proper amount of air flow in order to remove dissipated heat from the set. I would suggest moving the TV to an area with better air flow. Make sure that nothing obstructs the ventelation slots on the back of the TV set. This should help.

Thank you,

We just replaced a DLP chip for a Mitsibishi TV. The TV does not turn on. We have not connected the screen yet. Any ideas what's wrong.

Be careful you placed all connectors in proper place, an make sure your ribbon cables are correct an matching pins. A common problem. Also you should put it all together because some power supplies shut down when everything not connected

Mitsibishi VS-50703 will not power on. just here a click and shuts down

check from the ouput of the SMPS possible that the +B main is shorting., Use a multimeter to check on the main PCB only if you are familiar with poweer electronics. other wise just checkover for burnt components and replace if there is a shorted diode, transistor, capacitor or an open fusible. IF you systematically probe you might get to the problem provided you are aware of the stages and circuit.. hope my advise has helped ?

As switch power on the toshiba TLP791 projectorstatus of "on" and "lamp" light go to green to red after some time. Please assost us.

Does the unit light up? How mny hours are on the unit? most bulbs are rated for around 2000 hours some give warnings to clean the filters. Look in the menu and check the hours its been used.
Clean the filters, try and keep good ventelation to these because they get very hot and can overheat. They have sensors that will shut the unit down if they are overheating to avoid a fire.

Dryer starts to run for about a minute then shuts off, if you wait a little bit it will come on again but shuts off again

The motor is cutting out on over temperature. Either the motor is covered in lint: or the capacitor is faulty: or not enough ventelation comming in through the intake. If all is clear and clean, replace the motor.

Magnavox MDV630R1/17 DVD Recorder problem

Unlikely, but good possibility. Investing in a head cleaner would not be a bad idea. But also make sure the unit is well ventelated.

Tv shuts itself off

Look for the computer processor inside the TV. It needs to be cleaned. A can of compressed air will work. The processor is overheating and causing the tv to shut off. Look for the small fan that is supposed to keep the processor cool then remove the dust.

Good luck!
