That error is related to the laser unit. Check your connectors, they may have vibrated loose during move. These machines have a history of laser units going bad.
The source is E1, unless you are trying to display something froma camcorder or security cam. Philips does not provide enough cables with this product - they only provide you one set with which to PLAY a movie. You will need another red, white and yellow cable with which to RECORD. If you have a cable/satellite box, connect a 2nd red, white and yellow cord from cable box OUT to Philips AV IN. Switch the SOURCE on the Philips remote to E1, and your TV to whichever source you have the original red, white and yellow plugged into. You should get picture, and be able to record now.
