Hi, see if the batteries or the battery are installed correctly (positive side as the bat. cover shows + sign).
Mesure the voltage = 3 volts.
Look at the battery cover and body contact, and see if there is contact battery leakage;clean if necessary.
Also the counter should be in 1, nothing happens, the counter SW dirty or defective contact.

Other Main PCB bad.

Nikon d90, blinking "Error"

You "release the shutter" by pressing the shutter release button, often called the shutter button. That's the button you press to take a picture :-)

The camera may or may not return to normal after that. If it doesn't, remove the battery, then put it back in and turn the camera on again. Try removing and reattaching the lens (with the power off). If the problem persists, have a certified Nikon tech look at it.

My camera has the err 99 on the screen and won't take pictures anymore

The Canon Error 99 occurs when there is a contact issue between a lens and the body of the camera. it can also be caused by a defective battery, defective storage card you can try to take the battery out and put it back in.if the problem still persists you can run a firmware update.
Canon have now created firmware numbered 1.0.3 that aims to tackle the Err99 message.
Firmware 1.0.3
1. Corrects a phenomenon in which an image becomes overexposed when C.Fn.II-3 Highlight tone priority is set to “1′ together with other camera settings. (This correction has already been incorporated in the Version 1.0.2 and later firmware.
2. Corrects a rare phenomenon in which “busy” blinks on the camera’s display panel and the shutter cannot be released due to the timing of battery installation.
3. Corrects a rare phenomenon in which “Err 99′ appears on the camera’s display panel and LCD monitor and the shutter cannot be released due to the timing of pressing the shutter button.

The shutter continues to click in rapid concession Canon 20d

Check to make sure that you don't have it set on continuous. Check the lcd display and see if the shutter icon showing a mulitple as opposed to single frame image.
You should be able to choose between single, mulitiple and timed shutter releases...

I just took mine to the camera store and the woman at the counter swapped out my lens. The camera now works and the camera shake icon is gone. Try changing the lens, this worked for me and I had the same problem.

Stuck shutter D100 Nikon

The R06 is the buffer indication, not part of the error. It would appear more work is required. Other components may have failed, or the shutter itself may be bad.

I'm afraid this one is not a DIY. Nikon is pricey on repairs, you may fair better checking the repair service search here on Fixya.

I was cleaning my CCD and damaged the shutter. Same problem. Click to take a picture and the camera locks up and powers off. Turn the camera back on and the shutter releases and the camera resets and powers on. $281 service call later and Precision fixed it quickly. Replaced the shutter. They warranty their work for 6 months. Priced way too high, but nobody would touch it. As soon as I told other repair services how I messed it up, they turned me down. I had to much money invested in the camera to toss it in the closet.

D50 won't take a picture!

I was having the same problem.. And since I could not afford to take it to the shop, I tried everything I could think of...
Then I fixed it!!
It seems that the slide door behind the shutter was stuck for some reason... If you remove the lens.. (make sure the camera is in manual mode)... snap a shot so the shutter is up.. then gently slide the panel in the back down....
Once I did that.. the camera was working again.... Hope this easy solution works for you guys....

My camera wont click (take pictures)

try replacing the batteries with new ones, and if it persists you should contact casio customer support. hopefully you're still within the warranty period, because they will over charge even on minor repairs(they all do). there is a problem with the shutter mechanism, either electronic in nature, or mechanical. the click you're hoping to hear is the shutter release, and its not releasing. give them a call, get a repair estimate, and if its too high try finding a repair person with good hands that wants to have a go at it. nothing but good luck ;]
