If you haven"t solved it by now, with the new stat you will not use the O or B terminals. Your red wire will connect at either one, RH, or RC as they are connected together with a jumper wire. Then, G to green, W to white, and Y to yellow. Now, if this is a heat pump, you have the wrong thermostat. The one you have is for a gas fired unit. The O and B terminals are used on a heat pump to shift the reversing valve. So, if you have a gas unit, I believe it is, wire it like I said. Red will go to both RH and RC as one.
