You need a new thermostat. Easy cheap fix

you most likely have a bad blend door motor, or the actual door is broken inside the heater box. Jeeps used to have this issue, the door shaft snaps and only half will work. If you can turn from hot to cold on the side that's warm, then that's most likely what is going on.

yes there is, under the dash is a series of doors and acuators, its hit and miss to find the right one, if none is disconnected its cheaper to adjust it to where you want and block the vacuum hose to the actuator

Designed that way . The fan stops , so that warm outside air , is not sucked in by the fan , and circulated thru the refrig . The freezer door switch is what activates and de-activates the fan .

You have a bad cartridge. You need to replace it to work right again. there is a small block in it some where.

sounds like a cracked vacuum line... or a bad vacuum control box getting the settings confused check there first.. (hot air from outside is being forced in on the one side because one vent is open, cold on other then when on normal when both outside vents should be open 2 arent and one is)

This is a blend door problem, this door diverts air either throgh the heater core or the AC accumulator core, it either provides hot, cold or a mixture or blend, this door is deep in the dash and in most cases the dash must be removed to service the little electric motor that operated the door.
