Question about Quintum Tenor D3000

Getting this error in Quintum AXT 2400

Hi,

I am getting this error in my quintum AXT 2400 Gateway. I was running this gateway smoothly before one month. Last month I stopped to run the gateway. Even when I stopped the gateway that moment it also running smoothly. After 1 month I switched on the power to run it again. But I saw the ethenet connection didn't work. After that I logged in to gateway through hyper terminal. Then I am getting this error-
"tnetd53xx_emac_phy_read: phy read time out"

Would you please help me to solve this problem. I am waiting dor yor kind reply

NEED QUINTUM PASSWORD RESETTING


The detailed description of Configuring Terminal Software/Assigning IP address to Tenor DX is given below.If you need only RESETTING GOTO STEP 18.

1.From your PC, click on Start> Programs> Accessories> Communications> HyperTerminal. The Connection Description is displayed.

2.Enter a connection name (i.e., name for each unit such as Tenor DX 1 and click Ok.

3.Choose the connection port on your PC from the Connect Using drop down list box (i.e., Direct to Com1). Click Ok. The Com1 Properties window will be displayed. See Figure 3.

4.From the Bits Per Second drop down list box, choose 38400.

5.From the Data Bits drop down list box, choose 8.

6.From the Parity drop down list box, choose None.

7.From the Stop bits drop down list box, choose 1.

8.From the Flow control drop down list box, choose None. Click Ok. A connection to the Tenor unit is established.

9.Click on Call>Call. A connection to the unit will be established. The login prompt appears.

10.Enter a login name. The default login name is admin.

11.Enter a password. The default password is admin. (Once you are up and running, changing the password is a good idea for security purposes). Step through each of the following parameters and enter the correct values for your installation: IP address, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway.

12.At the Quintum prompt, type ei to reach the Ethernet prompt and then type config to change to the configuration mode.

13.To set the IP address, type set ipa followed by the IP address.

14.To set the Subnet Mask, type set subnetmask, followed by the subnet mask.

15.Type siprd to change to the Static IP Route Directory.

16.To set the Default Gateway IP, type change 1 g followed by the IP address for the default gateway IP.

17.Type submit.

18.Type maint to reach the maintenance mode and then mc. Type reset. A confirmation message will ask if you want to reset the unit. Type yes to reset the unit. The reboot enables the Tenor to incorporate the new settings.

19.Once the IP information is set, you are ready to configure the unit.

Hi,
the CAS Signaling Line should to be checked, and make sure following parameter set correctly

Signaling Type=3
Tone Based Supervision=3
Answer Delay=120

sorry.. quintum cannot solve the FAS problem..

only thing you can do is check the box were in it says less filtering

yes, it will work fine. But there is no need to formate. You do one thing try once more. Check modem which is provided by your vender. Switch off & on your modem. Right click on internet explorer -> properties->Delete cookies , delete history-> go to advance -> restore default. Switch off and switch on of your modem. Check four light should be blink. If it is glowing definitely it will work. Good Luck

There are 6 potential volume adjustments for an Analog Tenor.
Rx & Tx at the Phone, Line & IP - Adjust them carefully, 1 dB at a time. There are some tests that can be run to test impedance too, which will ultimately affect audio quality.
