This code just means the fuel vapors in your vehicle are escaping somewhere. It's the typical "gas cap" code. Check to make sure your gas cap is correctly tightened. Then try getting the code erased (any local shop can do this for you, typically at no charge) and see if it comes back. If it does come back, the other reasons could be a small leak/hole in a fuel vapor hose/tube, other small leak in EVAP system, or a faulty vent o-ring seal.
Get back to me, let me know either way, and I will help you continue servicing the problem, assuming it persists!
I hope this helps!
Testimonial: "thank u budy"
2003 Dodge Caravan, shows three codes; 1684, 455 and 440. The 1684 and 455 have been on for about six months; did change the gas cap with no change. I jsut noticed the other code this week, any suggestions are appreciated!

P1684 Battery Disconnected Within Last 50 Starts
I don't really know the convenience of this code, personally. To clear it, you're going to need to reset the system. Disconnect the battery for thirty seconds then reconnect it? Doesn't seem it would make sense, but in doing some research online for you, this is what I've come across. If this doesn't work, you will have to take it to a shop to get them to reset the codes for you.
P0455 - Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (no purge flow or large leak)
Under the hood, on the fan shroud, (large piece of plastic surronding the fan) There will/should be a vaccuum diagram. Inspect all of the hoses and tubes and fittings in this system. Check for any damaged pieces. Replace if neccessary. You say you replaced the gas cap? So this shouldn't be the issue. Inspect vaccuum system.
P0440 - Evaporative Emission Control System Malfunction
This indicates that a part of the EVAP control system is no longer fuctioning correctly. The EVAP system consists of many parts, including (but not limited to) the gas cap, fuel lines, carbon canister, purge valve, and other hoses. The (EVAP) emission control system prevents the escape of fuel vapors from a vehicle's fuel system. Fuel vapors are routed by hoses to a charcoal canister for storage. Later, when the engine is running a purge control valve opens allowing intake vacuum to siphon the fuel vapors into the engine.
So, basically in perspective, The codes 455 and 440 are related. Chances are, a sensor or line or the canister in your EVAP, or vaccuum, system has gone faulty. It's throwing both these two codes.
** when you changed gas cap, was it for a stock factory gas cap? or some ill-fitting aftermark part? This may not be sealing properly, allowing ventilation of the fuel vapors.**
