I have a badger 5, and it has stopped working. It just makes a buzzing sound and nothing happens. Also the kitchen has started to clog. I tried to push the red button at the bottom but nothing is happening, maybe I am not doing it right. Any suggestions?

Replace the whole thing. They are not that expensive and are easy to replace. The issue could be bad motor part or the shaft came loose from the grinding disk.
Likelyhood of loose blade is very low, but not impossible.
Get a good light and a small mirror, something is jammed inside, I bet. Often a piece of somthing gets lodged in a dischaged port and the blade hits it evey rotation.

Hi,
The motor on your dryer has gone bad. The humming is the motor trying to start and the smell is the motor getting hot because it is not starting.
You need to replace the motor.
Ya, happened to me. Sounds like you may have a clogged vent. (in the tube, or the dryer itself. Try cleaning that out really good. Then, double check that the venting is secured properly. If not, may overheat and shut down. I think that's what's going on. After you clean tubing (And the inside tube on dryer), the buzzing will continue for a while (days) until itr resets. If it runs after this, but still buzzes, that's your problem. Hope this helps you!
Your control panel is getting ready to quit. Mine did the same thing, I ignored it and now nothing on the touch panel works. About $150.00 for the part.
