Question about Sony Cybershot DSC-T200 Digital Camera
Hey guys, my flash suddenly stopped working one day.
When i hit the menu on the camera for flash. there is no longer an option available to switch flash "on" or to put it on "auto flash". only option which is there is "flash switched off ". how do i get my flash working again ??
your help will be very much appreciated.
I had the same problem, "BBWS" found this "solution":
Turn the camera on as if to take photos (not to review photos).
Press "Home" (upper left corner)
Press the camera tab (bottom left-most tab)
Press "Scene Selection (SCN)"
Press "OK" at the "Select type of scene" prompt
However, I still don't have flash available in the PGM or AUTO modes, which tells me it is still broken.

Tips for a great answer:
Most cameras have a button that looks like a lightning bolt. Hit that button and it will usually switch between flash options or it will bring up a flash menu. Some camera modes will automatically set your camera to auto flash, so if the room is dark, flash is on, and room is light enough the flash shuts off. You might need to switch to a different picture mode, like P or Programmable that lets you manually set your camera options.
