Just bought a new iPhone 3G, very happy with it, I read that I have to connect to the iTune server, but I wasn't able to do so, for some time, is there something wrong with my iPhone 3G?

Apple had a problem with their servers during the iPhone 3G launch, they under estimated the number of people that will try to log into the iTunes server at once, as a result the server fall down.

If this is the error you get, when connecting to the iPhone 3G to iTunes server you can relax, your iPhone 3G is 100% OK.

It looks like this -
