Make sure device is installed all drivers. Unplug, restart computer. Plug device back in and let windows reinstall device. One reinstalled restart computer and see if detects the system. I have answer another post tonight with the same device so go into igi_57 solutions and find other post for directions on how to go about connecting through the wireless window manager. Let me know if you have problems.

Battery has died in my N610c laptop works when connected to main accept w200 wireless network adapter it will not turn on or show green led

Sup guys i found the cure to this horroble blue screen death for this N610c. Ok i called hp and they wanted $69.99 for tech support well just imagine what i told them to do lol. Anyway i did my research and guess what i found out. That the updated driver is made to screw up your connection so that you have to call tech support and they can steal your money.
Im a computer technician since 1990 and what i discover was that beautiful driver that works here is a list of drivers that cannot be used on the Evo N610C because it causes conflits that no one can fix i know for sure.
List of the no no drivers are:
These drivers will make your screen go from windows to BLUE.
sp29156
sp28252
sp29156
Here is how i fixed the problem i deleted everything that had to do with LANMultiport drivers every single one then i searched my laptop to remove the rest of the lost files.
Once that was done the i installed this driver (sp23031)
Once that was installed and the puter rebooted the wifi card found my wireless connection and asked me to input my Network Key and walla it works great now without any problems.
Im using windows XP Home i just bought memory cause im installing windows 7 32 bit.

Finally the key is this driver (sp23031) for both home and pro eddition.
Here is the link to download your driver:

It works! Please hit me up a feedback

TRENDnet TEW-421PC 54Mbps PCMCIA Wireless Network Card 802.11g (NETWTEW421PC): signal strength 85% green but tx rate 11 instead o...

Im sorry but you will never get 54 on your card toughs are theoretical maximum speeds and I have never seen a system actually achieve them the actual speeds received by wireless devices are actually much lower and 11 is a normal speed wile running over wireless. Im sure this isnt what you wanted to here and I am sorry but it pretty much comes down to manufactures lieing by telling you it goes to speeds that can never be reached.

I hope this helped.

Thank you,
Norse

NETGEAR Wireless G USB Adaptor Problems

I contacted Bigpond after my whole internet collapsed due to my amature abilities in fixing the internet. >_<" yet they fixed my internet connection by disconnecting my current (DLINK DIR-300) router from the network. hmmmm... the technician also confirmed that my current broadband modem (2WIRE 2071-A) isnt capable of supplying a shared connection to more than one computer!! she also directed me towards a modem with an inbuilt wifi router that "supposedly" is the best option right now. (2701HGV-W) I'm a bit shaky and the stupid NETGEAR adaptor problem still exists - im willing to buy the new modem if its guaranteed to abolish this problem and give me a better internet wise outlook - please any suggestions will be appreiciated =)

Belkin G+ wireless receiver

you will need to set up the router first, with a wired connection.  Write down the wireless settings for setup later.  Then setup the wireless receiver on the PC with the same settings that you had on the router.  You should remember that distance, obstacles, etc. will affect a signal.  Also, remember that you may not be the only one in your area with a wireless network, so remember to change the channel on the router to something other than the default, and set up security, at least WEP.
