due to over heating this problem can happen. (if processor fan not working properly or heat sink not properly seated) check cpu fan. heat sink it properly seated or not. remove fan and heat sink and install properly use heat sink component (a white colour gel). also check power management setup in ur os.

1 beep and restart automatically

Hi,

According to your problem first check the SMPS of your system. To check the fault first try to turn your system on by a new or good conditioned SMPS. Check the RAM also. Open the RAM out from slot makes it clean from dust & moisture by an eraser, and then install it again. Check the reboot switch also. May be the OS of your system is corrupted. Repair the OS with the Operating system disk by repair option. If anything doesn't help you then may be this is the fault of your system motherboard. Then you have to check this properly and repair it.

Computer suddenly shut down and won't restart

This type of shutdown problem occurs mainly due to following few reasons, 1) SMPS problem 2) RAM failure 3) Over heated mother board chip(s) or seldom over heated CPU 4) Virus or worm problem or OS problem. 5) Over heated power cords
Do the following steps one by one (to detect the exact source of problem) First replace the CMOS battery, change SMPS, check power cord, run the PC directly (without UPS), remove the data cable from hdd. if it runs well then set the data cable with hdd, if it does not work then definitely there is mother board/cpu problem. And if it creates same problem after fitting the data cable - change the hdd or format hdd and reinstall os. your problem would be solved.

My computer sarts automatically when I want to shut down

it seems that your computer restart when you attempt to shut down. this problem due to short in power button in the cabinet. open the right side of the cabinet.most probably there will be red&white twisted thin wire from front panel for power, the colour may vary manufacture to manufacture.be carfull with it. see at left bottom of your dell PC mother board the wire will lead to two pin specifying power, restart, hdd etc.. short it with your screw driver. if system turn on then it is problem with switch replace it or if it not work then reboot the os.

Computer Restart again and again

remove the cmos battery from the motherboard for at least 1 hour then replace , if it continues to reboot it may also be your hard disk or os causing it

hope this helps
