Check ur sms settings..look for the option called 'Message center number' if this centre number is accidently changed or replaced.. thn mobile cant send any msgs to ur service provider server.. Try this: switch off ur phone.. take ur battery and sim card out from the mobile.. reinstall ur sim card and battery and swicht it on again..
thn try messaging.. if problem persist thn talk to your customer care fo your service provider to give u that unique message centre no. through which mobile send msgs.. :-)
Hi annisa, sure it looks like a settings problem. SMS are receveide into your phone, after being routed to the server, and then to your number, from the sernder. When you instead need to send SMS you nned to have SMS server settings correctly set up on your mobile. The settings depend on your phone company. You can try copying the SMS and MMS settings from a friend with the same provider (Telekom, U mobile, Maxis, etc). A better way to fix it is calling mobile provider customer service number, and having assistance and step by step instructions to set up your phone. If that still does not work, that means that there is a problem with your phone try resetting the phone to factory settings (do a phone reset from settings menu).
Try checking the SMSC (Message Center Number) number configured on your phone. If the Message Centre number is not configured or wrong then you will not be able to send..but you can receive.
Check... is there any setting called Inbox Setup in Message menu, then Text msg Setup -> Use GPRS -> NO
All the Best.
