Your Motor is on it's way out. From what I have read. I just fixed someone's problem like this in Live Chat. If you get a new motor for your washer, it will work fine. Thanks for using FixYa!

Replace the water inlet valve. If you need 100% assurance that I'm correct ten go to any hardware store in town and purchase a hose "Y" and ask them for it and install it and run any cycle you want. After it completes the cycle and shuts off you now can determine if changing the water valve is needed here. (see pix).... it will look very similar to this one. Please Rate This !!

If the washer won’t finish a cycle, it probably means that your timer went bad or stalled. You can take the control panel off and and look at the contacts for scorching or corrosion. Check this and post back.

When this happens it is usually a problem with the timer. By replacing the timer/programmer you should be able to fix it.
You can find parts here:

A cloudy water recovery and recycling apparatus and method of use. The apparatus recovers cloudy water defined as water recovered from the rinse cycle of a clothes washing machine. The apparatus is comprised of an electronic controller, a storage tank, a trap having a lint screen, a pumping means, and a pressurized storage container. Water from a clothes washing machine is separated into rinse water and wash water by an electronic controller. The wash water is disposed of and the rinse water is strained to remove lint, collected in the storage tank, treated with dye and bactericide, pumped from the storage tank to a pressurized container and then utilized to flush at least one toilet

Hi,

Pls check if your model has a feature called "Rinse Hold" and determine if it is enabled or engaged. If yes, try turning this feature off.

If the above is not corrective nor applicable, would appreciate a postback for additional information.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

    Hi again,

Appreciate the postback and additional information. I understand that your unit has no "Rinse Hold" feature.

It would appear that your unit is jumping the sequence and thus could be a defective controller board (most likely).

Would you be so kind to comment back the E-number or the PNC of your 6200? They normally are stenciled/printed on the name plate often at the back of the unit. It would be something like "95007403800".

    Cheers.

    There's no hot water

Some washing machines allow hot water to enter only during certain cycles. Others intermittently allow hot and cold to enter, to temper the temperature of the water. Consult your owner's manual if you are unsure about whether the machine is acting abnormally.

If you're sure the machine isn't working the way it used to--or should--try these tests:

    • Is the hot water turned on? If not, turn it on.

    • Is the washer getting cold water but no hot water? If so, check to see if the control panel settings are correct.

    • Is there hot water coming through the proper hose? If not, check to see if the screen inside the water-inlet valve is clean. (The water-inlet valve is the device on the washing machine that the fill hoses are attached to.) If it's clean, you probably have a defective water-inlet valve. If so, completely replace it.

My 12 year old AEG OKO LAVAMAT is making a grinding sound when it fills. It's fine at all other times. I've tried cleaning out the filter, and running it empty.

This is usually caused by the recycling pump running empty whilst the washing is still soaking up the initial fill water. as the water begins to soak the clothes it then starts to pass through the drum into the pump and the whole thing quietens down. running empty will not work. to test this theory try opening the drawer very slightly and filling it manually with a hose before starting the machine, (ONLY TO THE NORMAL LEVEL) and see if the noise is still as bad.

MY aEG OKO-LAVAMAT 610 WASHES BUT DOES NOT EVACUATE.

Check the drain filter, see if the hose is not clogged (blow it), verify proper operation of the pump and the pressure switch if necessary

I have had the same problem. If you switch the machine to off and then to cotton/linen 95, then press at the same time prewash, soaking, qick wash and stain buttons for 10 seconds switch it off. When I switched it on it worked.
