because it is a data cable,you need a charging cable,it plugs into a different spot and is not a mini usb like the data cable,go to ebay and type in the type of camera to find one
The MP3 player is charged by connecting the supplied USB cable to the
MP3 player and then plugging the other end of the USB cable into the USB
port of a working computer. You can also purchase a 5 volt mains USB adapter. Connect the MP3 player and USB cable to this 5 volt mains USB adapter to charge the MP3 player.
it'll be a little expensive, but after about two years of missing my cable, i finally found one that works! it won't let you upload content to it, but it will charge. the solution is a little expensive, though. When you buy the PS3 game, Warhawk, it comes with a little bluetooth headset and a usb cable to charge it. This cable fits the KPEX! It's the best solution i could find. I guess i'll just have to buy a miniSD card to use new content. Hope this helps!
