Question about Electrolux Vacuums
I figured the glass thing was a slow blow fuse.
Why it blew in the first place I'm not sure, as the batteries and motor are okay.
I bought something similar from J-car and whacked it in, it's been working like a charm ever since.
It was probably caused by the canister being too full & the motor running unloaded that caused the over current protection to do it's job.
I just hope it wasn't a resister that limited the charging current to the batteries. I guess if I see a small mushroom shaped cloud of smoke when i put it on the charger, I'll know it was.
