Question about Samsung LN-S4692D 46 in. LCD HDTV
Were do I start. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT. I wish I would have seen this before. We are having the same issue with the T Con board. It took samsung 3 weeks to send a tech out. It cost us 100.00 for the service call and all he did was tap his knuckles on the screen. He told us that they didnt make this board anymore and that we would get a new replacement or an upgrade. The customer service at Samsung also stated this. Who sells a tv and 15 months later there are no parts. BULL@$!. I called them back a couple of days later and they said my case was closed. What!!! We didnt even get our new tv. I was on the phone for two hours screaming. Samsung doesnt care. I spoke to the service tech guy and his boss and samsung. I stated that if my tv didnt get repaired I would broadcast them on all our local channels, becasue I was going to get this issue fixed. Guess what? they found a T con board and are coming on tuesday to replace it for free. What can we do to get this company to fess up. Our money is hard earned like everyone else. I am not done with them, I am calling back again because I want my service cost refunded and 1 months cable paid.
This is the same for ALL of the consumer products out there. The turnaround of the technology is very fast! With an extended warranty they would have been forced to give you a new set at no cost, or by the contract agreement if there is a pro-rated cost.
The lower cost sets are even a greater problem for this type of thing!
