Depending on who made your Kenmore will help determine what
the problem is most likely. Many times the thermostat can be the blame but with
different brands some making auto dampers that have their own thermostat to
regulate fresh food temperatures by controlling the amount of cold air coming
from the freezer to fresh food section. Some models have an auto damper while
others have an electric controlled damper that is controlled by an additional
electronic sensor. The first three numbers of your model number found most
times around the fresh food compartment door is where to find your model
