Windows xp media centre 2005 edition. Someone deleted the administraitor account of my laptop n i couldnt do anything coz theres no administraitor so i reinstalled windows and put my orginal product code...

if the product code you entered is the one on your pc then that means you are not installing the version of windows that came with the machine. That being the case you have 2 options, either install from the disc that came with the machine or get a licence from microsoft for the version you are trying to install. we do not provide product codes!

Windows media centre decoder in use

Media centre can use a numnber of codecs to do this job, you just need to make sure it has a choice. You need to download & install a codec pack. Microsoft has one which you can find on the website but the most comprehensive one is KL Codec pack. Google it & install the standard version, just use all the default settings & that will fix your problem.

If you have the key you should be able to borrow the installation disk. The software will

install with the original key. If you have no other option the software can be purchased
