Question about Sony KP-57HW40 57" Rear Projection Television
My TV is having problems. Its almost displaying picture in 3D. Least it looks that way. When I look at the top of the picture where it says the input e.g. DVD or Video 2, normally it shows in green, but now it shows it in green with red slightly behind it, almost below it and to the right. Kind of hard to explain. It almost looks like those cheesy 3D glasses are on when I look at it. I'd like to know whats wrong with it to find out how much this might cost to fix, or how long maybe the warranty lasts on this TV. Basically anytime theres text on the picture it comes in blurry with the same text showing behind it off to the side. And the horizontal lines are mainly just on the top and bottom of the screen.
Projection TV sets have several common problems listed below.
Problem #1) Convergence
Problem #2 CRT Fluid has clouded over.
