I had the radio stop and the word code come up. The car was hard to start so I put a new battery in. Now unable to get the radio or cd to work. Have tried to follow the instructions on line as the book with the vehicle is not the unit installed. After putting the code which the dealer gave me I press the DISP/NAMES button and just get WAITING.

The code the dealership gave you was probably for the original radio in the vehicle. the kenwood radio is not stock.

Testimonial: "Thanks that was a help. Dealer sorting as the original owner must have changed at purchase."

My battery was replaced, I HAVE THE RADIO CODE , BUT IT DOESN'T TURN ON THE RADIO, MY CLOCK STOPPED, MY CD PLAYER WON'T WORK...WHAT WENT WRONG?

You need to see the dealer for information on the radio code. Also sue O'Reilly auto for improper installation of the new battery.

My car battery died.when i put in a new my cd player stop working

If your radio is still working, then your power is OK. The Sony CD changer gets its power from the Sony Unilink cable. It is possible that it passed a power spike down to your CD player while hooking up your battery cables.

I just had a CDX-757MX just die a few days ago myself. My radio, amps, and other changers are still working. Could be an unfortunate coincidence.

Battery Drain, same problem

you can put a meter on bat and watch for drainage and while draining or amp pull pull fuses one at a time to see if stops when stops that is the circuit that is draining bat.

Can't get radio to work since battery was replaced

Your going to have to go back to the dealer and they can look up the code by using the vin number of the car to re-set your radio which has an anti theft system.
Most case they'll do it for free where you bought the car as long as it was a Suziki Dealer.
Good luck and hope this helps.
