My Hoover Wind Tunnel Bagged Vacuum is about 18 months old and used maybe once every couple of weeks. the on/off switch has totally quit working. the only way to turn it on/off is to unplug. Ideas???
My switch is broken also, how do I get the handle off without breaking it?? I removed the screwa but it won't come off. There is a hole above the screws that I know you need to use somehow to disengage the cable for the self propel, but I can't figure it out.
This happens all the time on our vacuum. Just remove the handle and switch the button manually inside. You will have to do this from time to time as the power switch on the outside will constantly stop working. This, along with the belt replacements are the common complaints on this machine.
