As far as setting up an email client, do you have any other email clients, Gmail and the sort?
Has it worked before? My suggestion is to erase what is saved on your phone and start over. Go to Settings -> Mail/Contacts -> Add account -> choose Yahoo. Make sure that your email address is typed in full, XXXXXX@yahoo.com. Once you fill in that and your password it should work. Good luck!
This can just be due to corrupted temp int files. Clear the temporary internet files or browser cache and cookies on the browser that you are using. Restart the computer and check your yahoo mail again. If no go, note any error that you are getting, or indicate what is happening when you attempt to read your emails.
You can try this: It may be a corrupt windows indtallation, boot the XP CD and select Install Windows, Choose the "Repair" option in subsequent screen. May take a while, and you need to activate it again, but it usually fixes the problem for me.
If that doesnt work, backup all your data, then do a fresh new xp installation.
