Hello, I want to repair a washer left at a property I purchased. It just fills no matter what setting the control is on. I let it go just to the top and pull out the control and it stops. Afraid to go any farther with it. Timer? Water switch or both?
Also, Hotpoint dryer runs but does not get warm, no blockage on the filter so air does flow. Model DLL265OBHLWH

- Ok, I have some parts on order, when I try to install them one at a time I will see which one will solve my problem with the washer. Have to purchase a volt meter to address the dryer. Thanks.Jul 22, 2008
- Well I tried the water level switch first, very easy to replace, crossed my fingers and it worked!! Have to try the heating element and volt meter on the dryer, but very very happy that washer is working!!!Thanks FixYa!!!! and tech17!!

either a water valve is stuck or most likely the pressure switch is bad check to make sure the hose is on the tub and back of the pressure switch and its clear if that's good replace the pressure switch its where you select the water fill on the drier first thing to check is the power dryers will run on 110 but not heat without 220 get a volt meter and check it where the cord attaches if that's good check the heating element
