Download the scanner drivers from the Acer WEB site. Make sure you select the model of your scanner and the XP or Vista version of the drivers you that require. Use this link to get to the Acer support: -

have an Acer Flatbed Scanner Model 310P. I've had it for a few years and I really like this scanner. I just purchased a new computer and it has Windows xp as the Operating System. I cannot get the computer to recognize the drivers. How do I download the correct drivers?

You could try the following.
Start/Programs/accessirues/System Tools/Compatability wizard.
and reset the system to the operating system the scanner was made for.
But be warned if it is a scanner with Win 95/8 drivers it is likely not to work
This is because the scanner firmware will only operate with DOS comments not NTFS commands.

OK generally they are 12 Volt at least 1amp with Center pin POSITIVE & NEGATIVE to the outer (Earth) any power supply that meets these requirements will be OK.
