Make sure the volume is not set to zero. Try raising the volume using the volume buttons located on the front of the PSP.

Make sure the mute setting is not on. Press the (Music Note), third one from the right, located on the front of the PSP® to clear the mute setting.

If headphones are inserted, the PSP will not send any sound through the speakers. To check that the speakers work, unplug the headphones.

Hope that will Fix Ya!

My psp hang when i hold it it appears m33 vsh menu and nothing works except the vol

My psp did the same thing. 1. Turn off psp. 2. Hold down R trigger while turning psp back on. This should take you to the M33 Recovery Menu. 3. Go to "Configuration" press X then go down to "Use VshMenu" press X so that it is Disabled. This should fix it. Go up to back then down to exit. If this doesnt work or if it does work please comment back to let me know. I like to know that people actually read my posts. Thanx. Gonzo Dacompo

Network and sound

I you have WEP installed on your wiresless network, then get the administrator or whomever
the network belongs to to verify that you are
using the right WEP codes. Some folk from time to time change them if there is a network problem or something.

Now the sound issue is something totally different. My son spilled water on his PSP and lost all of his sound, I opened it up and replaced the start/select/vol strip inside of which costed me about $16 to include shipping and handling via Hydratech.com. Now his PSP is the 2000 thin, but they do carry the PSP 1000 strip as well. Good Luck.

PSP suddenly has vertical lines no image

For your first PSP: there is a loose conection of LCD Screen with the motherboard and the solution is as follow: You can open the PSP and just lift the LCD Screen up be sure before lifting LCD Screen one thin Switch panel of micro buttons Home,VOL,select etc, you have to remove this first then only it is possible to lift the LCD Screen and after that you check that broad connection strip which is fixed with the motherboard socket you remove it this strip and refixed it again, your problem should get solved if suppose your LCD Screen is not broken.
