Warranty I bought a tv in February and now it does not work. Do you have my warranty information in you computer, because I am in the process of moving and can not find anything.

The computer was bought in February this year and won't work with the battery. It works plugged in but Microsoft Office has been affected.


There seems to be three issues to your case.
1. The battery needs a check , check voltage, if low check the charging voltage at the battery terminals,if not you need to replace-- get warranty claim as it is not ONE year yet.
2. The OS- operating system is affected, possible virus in the system, need to reinstall windows and the windows office with a good anti - virus protection.
3. Possible fault in the mother board if the set does not work with battery. DO NOT TAMPER IF YOU CAN CLAIM FOR WARRANTY .

Put in new cartridge for the first time and now paper feed is not working and cannot get it to print. V. frustrating as only bought it in February and printers never seem to last


as you say you bought it in February there is still warranty on it, so dont tuch it bring it back to the dealer you bought it from and they have to fix it under warranty!

My father received this laptop in December 2010 from my brother. (his grandson may of actually bought it) at a Best Buy. I am pretty sure they even bought an extended warranty. The laptop is not working...


If you bought the extended warranty from Best Buy they should have the information saved, if you just give them the name of the person the warranty is under. They should have a database storing all their warranty information.

I have purchased a akai lcd 26'' on 4-5-08.model no. is lcdtv26lw7.with a 7 year warranty.the problem im facing is , the tv stop working after 1 hour. now customer care is asking for the warranty card...


depending on where you bought the tv. almost all companys keep electronic data on who bought what from them and when. simply for this one reason. in case you loose your warranty. check with the retail shop you bought it from they should have you on there computer

I just bought a mini MSI pc from a friend..can I register it in my name..thanks

The computer should have been registered after it was purchased. It has a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase and the warranty is non-transferrable. If your friend registered it in his name then the 1 year warranty is tied to him and cannot be transferred to you. If you re-register the computer in your name you will not qualify for any warranty work. I suggest you leave it in your friend's name(if he is a good friend) and if there is any problems with the computer have him contact MSI for warranty work. If the computer is over a year old then it is past the warranty date anyways(unless he got an extended warranty) so re-registering the computer in your name would allow for e-mail updates from MSI and any recall information for your computer.

You'll need to pull out the warranty paperwork and see what it says about repairs. You'll likely need to present the proof of purchase for the warranty along with the machine, for Best Buy to start the process. To be certain you're doing it right, consult the warranty to see what to do. You can void your extended warranty if you take the machine to someone not certified to work on the machine.

I bought a Sharp LC37DW99U at the end of November 2007. There is a one year warranty. The image developed a cluster of vertical lines on the left side of the screen in early February 2008. Brandsmart sent...


Im a HP LCD and Plasma TV technician and I know on HP tv's if theres vertical or horizontal lines, this can indicate a bad video controller board.

What i would do first is perform an alignment to see if that fixes the vertical lines. Your TV should have a feature for it to automatcially perform an alignment of the mirrors.

if the alignment doesnt work, I would say your video controller board is bad.

Call your store manager and if that doesn't get you action then call 1-800-WALMART and ask that the District Manager be advised and that you expect a call back. Wal-Mart should stand behind anything they sell including warranty. I purchased one for my new notebook and dealt with the store manager for information on the warranty before I bought it. The manager will respond.
