Question about Linksys PrintServer for USB with 4 port Switch: PSUS4 (NTSVLS0PSUS4) Print Server
My print server was working perfectly. Then, out of nowhere, I get some error message something like "print server failed"
I don't believe it is broken. I'd never touched any settings nor were any connections changed. The print server is connected to my computer thru a router.
Also, I uninstalled files and drivers that came with the setup disk.
When I tried to reinstall, during setup at the step where the screen gives me the choice of setup wizard or user install, choosing either gives me no device. It acts as if there's no print server connected. I've checked and rechecked and it is powered and connected. The green leds are on.
If you connect your printer directly to your computer, were you able to print? Make sure that there is no firewall enabled in your computer (Double check windows firewall or any personal firewall, that could have been enabled).

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
