Those are going to be dust spots on the LCD panels internal to the optical engine. i suggest that you take the screen off and take off the panel i nthe middle of the tv with 2 screws in it and there will be an area that has 3 metal fins covering thin orange ribbon cables. the 3 square objects at the end of those ribbon cables will be the LCD panels spray wiht air compressor unitl clean and that should greatly help your problem.

Possible the display itself is going bad. It is also possible the driver circuitry or voltage regulators are not holding up.

Replacing the display is prohibitively expensive. Repairing a driver board or something associated with it may not be so tragic.

    Hope that helps....

Careful - the lamp is very hot by the way. Need to let it cool down.

Possible failure of the LCD panel or there is fault in the board. Unless this is checked in detail a specific component or board should not be replaced. Please take estimate after consensus.

Zenith M52W56LCD blue spot in center of screen

It could be as simple as dust contamination in the LE or lcd chip. You need a clean room to work on this area of the unit and NOTHING you can do there would make that possible, short of spending a few thousand to build one. Before we added a clean room enviroment we simply pulled the LE and sent it in to PTS - who has one and reinstalled...
In your case take it to a qualified shop and you'll save yourself a lot of grief..

Optics block or "light engine".. lots of $$. LCD filters have warped due to clogging of intake air filter resulting in overheating. The area in question is nicknamed "the cube" and is actually NLA for some brands.

Lite blue cloud and blue spots

It might be just dust somewhere in the light path to the LCD panels or on them. The only other thing that comes to mind is the light engine itself and that is no easy task to replace. The part number for it is A-1084-666-A and can run close to 1000.00 for the part. Can you post a picture of the issue so I can look at it?

I have the same problem. The repair guy said it's the optical engine and you may as well replace the set as pay for the repair. First time I'm glad I bought the extended warranty. That's another story. Zonieal
