Wireless lan for Acer Aspire 5101AWLMi

what operating system you using? xp or vista? home? premium? basic? at any rate use this link to select your unit and use the operating system drop down menu to locate the software that is loaded on the computer. from there select the correct driver. Make sure you select the Lan Driver first. Load that. THen select either the atheros or broadcom driver. if you install both it will be fine. the machine will only install the correct one to the device. good luck!

New os installed..

Erm, install adapter? I mean, seriously, go the website of the manufacturers that made your bluetooth adapter and search for vista compatible drivers for your blutooth adapter. Once you get a hold of it. install it. It shouldn;t be an issue once you have the proper driver. however, please do revert back to me if you face difficulties. Thank you.

Help

Hi,
I installed my EUB-362 yesterday. I did install from the supplied CD AND the internet. When I saw that the supplied CD did not include drivers for Vista, I stopped there and then and connected to the internet with my other USB WiFi adapter. I continued with the install. As expected the install wizard said that it could not locate a driver. I let it "search" for the driver and Vista located a driver on MS WEB site and downloaded it. The driver appears to be for a Atheros USB 2.0 Wireless Network Adapter but works just fine.

Ine note: It works OK on a 10 fot USB extension but not on a 20 foot USB extension.

Good luck
