Everything I have read says... it must be PRE-PROGRAMMED
TO WORK correctly... (not-plug & play).

You need to post your original part number
Your TCM or TCU or whatever it is called
is definitely shared with OTHER Mercedes models

I have found them on AUDI...

Check around the ecu and a tcu for moisture. Others have reported similar issues and find the carpet very damp. Some have pulled the control modules to dry out and let carpet dry and the issue was resolved. Of course, if theRe is moisture then you need to fix that leak, and the damage could be too bad to fix by letting it dry.

The first thing you need done is to have a tranny repair shop scan the "TCM" (not TCU) for fault codes.

Have vehicle's TCU/TCM scanned for codes and do the repairs the codes address.

Currently 4wd, 4wd low and overdrive do not work.

I don't know what this means, "car discharges dont shift right so i unpluged it the car charges".

but did you verify the transmission computer - TCU or TCM - is correct?

1. This is only a request from TCM to ECM to turn the MIL on. The fault code is stored in the TCM. The Freeze Frame Data is stored in the ECM under the P1529 request code. Be sure to retrieve freeze frame data before clearing code P1529 from ECM. 2. Check the transaxle system.
