My vga turns a green tint and the flashes back to norman and then to green

I have an HP s3020n Vista 32bit pc. I also have the green tint all over my screen. I tried three different monitors and three differenet cables and the green tint still appears.

I've been told that since the video card is intergrated with the motherbaord, I will have to replace the entire motherboard.

    Could there be another solution?

Check the connection. Some pins on the VGA? may have been twisted or broken. Use a different cable.

Green tint - even background when blue selected

We have usually found it to be the VGA cable connection when the whole screen is tinted. Have you checked the pins in the VGA cord as well to make sure one is not missing or bent.

I have an Acer AL1916 monitor and I turned it on like normal yesterday and it has now got a weird green tint all over.. I've gone into the settings of the monitor and played with the red, blue and green...

sounds like a cable problem, can you find another VGA cable to try, look at the cable ends carefully for bent pins.(they are easy to bend by accident) wiggle the blue VGA connector while its on, try both ends, I think when you push the button your pushing on the cable momentarily which causes the monitor to function properly, likely the connector on the back of the monitor. if this helps, please use the thumbs up for feedback. cheers

Green tint on flash photographs

without color correction software on your pc, you may get green tint from the flouresent flash, or use a "filter" over your lens.More expensive digital cams correct for this, back in the 35mm days, I had color correction filters I interchanged during shooting under other than daylight conditions,i.e., incadescent; flourescent;ect.

Video is taking on a red tint which is getting worse over time

check the cable connections. look at different inputs. VGA and Component cables have the colors split, so if it's turning red, green, or blue; it's likely a cable or connector.

Monitor screen changes from regular color to a green tinted screen?

Looks like you need to purchase a new monitor. If it's too worn out then it's the outcome. I also had the same problem before and I ended up buying a new one. You should not experience that thing if it's new.

Infocus LP70 - It's all Green

A tinted image (whether green or another color) is almost always a symptom of a bad or damaged cable - or a loos cable connection. In your case, you'll likely need a new M1 to VGA cable (Part# SP-DVI-A-R).

Assuming that you've made sure that the cable connections are solid at both ends, there is a simple test to verify that this is a cable issue and not a costly projector issue. While the image is tinted green, open the menu. If the menu colors appear fine while the rest of the image is still tinted green it's the cable.

I had the same problem and found out that it was the cable from the projector to the computer. HD D-sub 15-pin cable.
