The website MRREMOTECONTROLS.COM is currently, selling a remote control for your TV, for $27.95 plus $7.95 (S&H). They can be reached at 1-800-221-1471. The website lists your TV as Model PT50LCX7 which uses remote contol N2QAYB000103.

Another option is to buy a less expensive universal remote. I own a One-for-All universal remote (model URC-4220), which works with Panasonic TVs. I bought it at Walmart, for less than 10 dollars.

Hope these suggestions work for you. Please take a moment to rate this info, by using the rating system below. Thanks.

Panasonic PT-50LC13 50 in. Rear Projection HDTV Does anyone know how to reset the timer when the picture doesn't come on (black screen)?

Turn on the television after the new DLP bulb and housing are inserted into the chassis.

  • 2 Move close enough to the set to reach it easily. Hold the "VOL" button on the front of the television, while holding the "SPLIT" button down on the remote. Do this for 5 seconds. Note that some models require holding the "PIP" button on the remote in lieu of the "SPLIT" key. Verify which model is relevant prior to beginning the process.
  • 3 Verify that the reset took by waiting for a message to appear on-screen indicating a successful reset. Additionally, the "LAMP" indicator on the front of the television will go out.

    This works for most Panasonics

    Turn on Power
Pres and hold the "vol-" button on the front of unit and the "split" key on the remote together for over 5sec.

Screen should say " Lamp time was reset to 0"
