Step 1: select "printers".
Step 2: select "Pixma iP series".
Step 3: select "Pixma IP90"
Click "Go".
Click "Drivers and Downloads".
Select "OS is Windows 7".
Download the appropriate "Guides" and "Manuals", and read them.
Download the appropriate device-driver.
Follow the instructions in the "Easy Setup Instructions" guide.

Hi, Perhaps you can try: remove the USB connection of the printer; uninstall and remove all drivers of the Canon IP4200; reboot your PC; plug in your usb to the PC from the printer; power on your printer; let windows auto detect "New Hardware found"; let windows auto install drivers; test print. If after plugging in your usb and powering your printer Windows did not auto detect "New Hardware found", it's possible that your printer's usb cable is defective. If Windows auto detected the Canon IP4200 and auto installed all the necessary drivers but failed in the test print, repeat above steps but instead of auto install, use the original CD driver and not the new drivers (Let me choose which drivers I want". RESET - User manual is available from the Canon site. There are 2 versions, 1 is a Quick Start Guide in pdf and the other is a User's Manual (On-Screen). Both does not say anything about reset, however you may want to google "fix your own printer" and variations of resetting all sorts of printers are available. Some works, others are ... well you can always give it a try. Or in the On-Screen Manual,you can also try the Troubleshooting/Printing Does Not Start. Another thing that you can try is installing the printer in another PC using the old CD drivers and see if it works. If it does, then it is a driver issue with the new PC.
