Hi,

Is this a new HDD? Disk Boot Failure means it cannot boot from the HDD. Plus you mentioned that it is not detected on the BIOS. You need to have this HDD replaced. Not even a reformat can help at all. It is a hardware problem you have there.

Looking at your MB with the processor on top. In the lower right hand corner are two connectors, F_USB1 and F_USB2. This should be what you are looking for. nblady.jpg
