I have a sound card in my p.c bu i don't know how i use it?

Hey Bro,

May be you do not have the drivers, this is why the sound is not working on your PC. Visit the website http://download.cnet.com/Realtek-AC-97-Audio-Driver-XP-W2K-W98-WDM-driver-VER-5-10-0-5554-zip/3000-2110_4-210198.html to download the drivers for your PC. This would work if you have the following Operating System Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP/2003/NT

I hope this would resolve your issue. Please grade my answer if it works out. Thank you!

I get this messeg when i try to play muice or vids how can i fix this.(Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device...

Put your PC on, and left click at Setting, Control panel, and at the Add Hardware wizard. Follow the instruction prompted to know if the Sound Card is installed. If it is not, Have it installed. Then, back at the Control Panel, left Click System, Hardware, Device Manager, and finally the Sound, Audio device, to find the status and property. Then, you have to reinstall the sound driver software thru a CD if you
have one. If none, get connected to the internnet and
have your download. Just type at the Search engine
blank (Free download Sound driver software). Upon
reaching the site, get your download. Upon completing the download, ga back to your PC. Click
open, the download and install it in your PC. Upon
completing the installation, test it thru the Windows
Media Player. Hope this works and solve your
problem.

Ibm sound card drive

The motherboard (IBM FRU 13R8926) has on-board ADI SoundMax audio. It's used in a variety of IBM/Lenovo desktop computers- including ThinkCentre A50p and M50. This should be the download page for the A50p and M50 models:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-50534

You should be able to use the ADI driver-only download on newer (x86) versions of Windows; although it indicates 98SE/2000/XP, version 5.12.01.5410 worked fine on my Windows 7 Professional install.

IBM/Lenovo lists drivers under the system model number, rather than by component, but you can search the IBM and/or Lenovo site for the FRU number (13R8926, in this case) to find the systems that it goes with, and then pick one of those systems to find the relevant downloads.

Need sound card driver

Hi Rana,

Assuming you're running Windows XP or 2000, you can download the PCI 128 Sound Card Driver Installation programs here:

http://support.creative.com/downloads/download.aspx?nDownloadId=255. (They are free of charge, of course).

When you launch the program, it detects your operating system information and automatically installs the appropriate drivers.

If you're running something other than Windows XP or 2000, go here: http://support.creative.com/Downloads/searchdownloads.aspx to find additional driver installation packages.

Hope this helps, and enjoy the sound and music!

Gail :-)
